·        More than 312,000 people in 48 nations around the world have owned registered Paint Horses in the past 42 years

·        APHA started with 150 members and 250 registered horses in 1962.

·        Today, more than 107,000 people in 41 nations and territories are active members of the non-profit horse registry.

·        More than 784,000 Paint Horses have been registered to date by APHA.

·        The association registers about 55,000 horses per year.

·        Nearly 70 percent of the total horses in the registry have received certificates in the last 10 years, making APHA one of the fastest growing breed registries in the world.

·        The association hosts more than 1,100 horse shows around the world.

·        More than 421,000 entries are processed annually by APHA for horse show exhibitors

·        The association employs 155 people at its Fort Worth, Texas, headquarters.

·        APHA maintains a $15 million operating budget, used to fund multiple incentives and programs for its members.

·        APHA paid out more than $1 million to 2,277 people last year as part of a special “Breeders Trust” incentive program to reward owners and breeders of competitive Paint Horses. APHA makes payouts annually through the program and has awarded nearly $3 million over five years of the program.
