Brown/Bay Solid Colt born May 24th, 2010

Festus is a solid brown/bay colt. His sire is Lovin R Poco Royal and we are awestruck as to how much he looks like his father 'Cisco' when he was born. We registered Cisco as a bay, but he is in fact a brown. He does lighten some in the summer, but most of the year, he is a rich seal brown with a light muzzle and eyes. All Cisco's foals have been black based. We are pretty sure that Festus will shed out very similar - turning dark bay and then brown. He even has the same star but Jazzy did add a set of 4 white socks. They are really nicely matched.

What he lacks in color, he makes up for in conformation and pedigree. Everyone who sees Cisco, wants one just like him and we know this little guy is going to be just as popular! He is a full brother to our black mare, Royal Ebony Rose, Frodo's dam.

Festus is our best little buddy. He always comes up and loves to get a good rub and scratch. He is going to make an awesome partner for someone!

Poco Bueno, Doc Bar and Sonny Dee Bar are all just off his papers in the fourth generation. He has more than 20 famous AQHA Hall of Fame and NMR Hall of Fame horses in his pedigree - It's worth having a peek at.
