His legs are all white and other than his head, the only black is on the tip of his tail. Royal Apache Opal is an awesome black tobiano filly. We were planning on keeping her back, but due to lack of pasture, we are reluctantly offering her for sale. Opal is being tested for the homozygous black and tobiano genes. With all her spotting, we have no doubts that she will test positive. She has a good pedigree including Poco Bueno as well as some great speedsters. Opal sports a full medicine bonnet with a nice even blaze, dark eyes and overall nice conformation. She has lots of muscling, a huge hip and nice fluid movement. She is going to have some size to her as her sire is 16hh. She has been de-wormed, halter trained and is ready to go to a good home. For Sale $1500 Update - Unfortunately the sale of Fonzi could not be completed due to unforeseen circumstances, so we are once again offering him for sale. Update - Fonzi has been tested for Herda and is n/n. He was also tested and is homozygous for the black color and heterozygous for the tobiano gene. This fancy guy was a late 2007 foal - but what a nice black tobiano colt! He has a full dark face with a nice stripe and snip, no white chin and dark eyes. His white 'stripe' just touches at the withers to give him a couple tuffs of white in his mane. He has the prettiest head and is really put together nicely! Fonzi has a champion pedigree: Poco Bueno x9, King x14, 8 x Three Bars plus Doc Bar, Sugar Bars, Breeze Bars, Royal King, Skipper W just to name a few. He has a light muzzle and eye rings with dark eyeliner and comes complete with collar buttons and cross. He hasn't been handled much but stood really well to have his feet trimmed. He loves waffles and dry raisin bread and armed with that...he'll follow you anywhere! We don't need another jack, so we would consider a trade for a jenny. We are also looking for a good farm dog and a small house dog, so we may consider a pup in trade. We prefer registered animals with papers.
