Gunner was born a bit over on the knee but now as a yearling he is nice and straight. He has an awesome disposition, just like his big brother Fonzi. He loves attention and is the first one up to meet and greet everyone. 'Minimal white overo' was close but pushing it a bit... that spot there on his neck is not a speck on your computer screen, but a spot of white. It is in the shape of an elongated heart and is just barely 2 inches, so rather than go through the hassles of shaving and hoping it gained another 1/16", we chose to register Gunner as a solid. I guess Diego saved all the color for Wakina. Gunner does have a very nice blaze and what he lacks in color, he makes up in pedigree. His sire is Poco Diego, our bay tovero stallion. Lacy is his grand dam. Lacy is double line bred Poco Bueno and Diego is her grandson out of Friday Night Disco. Gunner has a 'Royal' pedigree with several Champions, World Champions, and Hall of Famers, including 9x Poco Bueno, 14x King and 8x Three Bars.
