This
hand-painted cow skull features Kokopelli - the Flute Player.
The skull is
approximately 21" across and 19" long. Beads and Red-Tailed Hawk feathers hang
from one horn.
I used acrylic paint and
a sealer coat to ensure that the painting will last.
The horns on this skull
are very nice and even...skulls like this are extremely hard to find.

Kokopelli, the
humpbacked Flute Player was considered a mythical symbol of fertility by the Anasazi people. Kokopelli brought well being to the people, assuring success in
hunting, planting and growing crops.
This skull would look great
in a South West decor. A large turtle is painted on the front with smaller
turtles on the sides. The intricate pattern is painted freehand in acrylic and
then sealed. Beads hang from one horn.
The skull measures
approximately 13 inches across and 19 1/2 inches in length. The horns are not even and
seem to add some character to the piece. I liked it better without feathers or
fur on the horns, so that is how I left it.
Price $225. plus actual
shipping charges.
