This sweet little filly arrived during an early morning rain but as soon as she was up and nursing the sun came out and chased the clouds away. Tabu is likely a smoky black as her eyes have a bluish tinge and she has the real light tan color in the ears. She may look black but she will carry the cream gene that will enable her to produce buckskin and palomino colored foals if she is used as a brood mare. She has the nicest little heart-shaped star and nice high stockings. Gypsy is an awesome mother and puts everything into her foals. She is a grand old gal that really enjoys being a mom.

Tabu should have some size to her. Her sire is Royal Apache Tears who stands 16hh. Other than size and color, he has also provided her some good bloodlines - Hall of Famers King, Poco Bueno, Three Bars, Leo, Royal King, Top Deck plus Old Tom Cat, Steel Bars, Good, Eternal Sun, Leolita, Hard Twist and Cowboy P-12. Tabu's dam, Gold Gypsy Dancer,  is a grand daughter of World Champion Impressor by World Champion Impressive and also has Lightning Bar, Three Bars, Sugar Bars, Leo, Plaudit, Joe Hancock, Joe Reed and Oklahoma Star in her pedigree. She is tested HYPP N/N. So together they have provided the ingredients for a very correct, straight and strong filly. She should be very athletic and versatile.
